Trissino, 13 January 2023 - Students from some of the world's leading design schools in Italy, Spain and China accepted the challenge of the PROGOL3D® DESIGN CONTEST 2023, the international com-petition organized by Progold, an early adopter in precious metal 3D printing for semifinished prod-ucts for high-end jewellery.
For the 2023 edition, the company, based in Trissino (Vicenza), had the privilege to collaborate with Chaumet and Platinum Guild International to launch a contest with a clear goal: reinterpreting an iconic Chaumet collection using an innovative and sustainable technology.
The award ceremony for the winners is scheduled for Sunday, January 22 at 2 p.m. at Palladio Theatre - Hall 8 - VICENZAORO.
Speakers at the round table will include Damiano Zito, Progold CEO; Adrien Leroux, Chaumet Method and Industrialisation Manager; Pauline Martin, Chaumet Product Manager; Huw Daniel, Platinum Guild International CEO; and Daniela Bulgarelli, Jewellery and Accessory Design Course coordinator at IED – European Institute of Design in Turin.
The students in the competition come from IED - European Institute of Design in Turin (Italy), Escuela Joyerìa de Còrdoba (Spain), Escuela Técnica de Joyerìa del Atlantico (Spain), Centro de Estudios Joyeros de Madrid (Spain), GIC - Gemmological Institute China University of Geosciences (China).
